Too many crafts, too little time...

Hi All!

Started about 10 little projects today and finished 3. It happens.

Let's talk about Mod Podge. Personally, I love it using fabric. I had some left over ceramic tiles from an old project, and I needed coasters that matched my bedroom. Old scrap fabric + old tiles = free. LOVE IT.
Enjoy.
 Supplies.

It was much easier to do opposite sides rather than adjacent. I was able to pull the fabric taught. It made the whole thing look cleaner.
 Hot glue that guy.
Generously, but evenly coat with Mod Podge (a gift from above). Then give the little guys some time to dry.

Finish it off with your felt circles so the furniture doesn't get scratched. TA-DA.

So cheap. So easy. I made three, but I would probably make a set of 5 to do as a gift or sell. It just worked for my room.

I'm thinking I might add some embellishments to the sides if I get bored. We shall see!

Kitchen Renovation

I've been itching to get rid of the HORRIBLE cabinets in our house, but unfortunately, we rent. :(

I finally got up the courage to ask my landlord if I could paint them. Apparently, I have the best luck in the world. Not only can I paint them, but they had been wanting to make some updates anyways, so I get new countertops of my choosing and a new back splash. Oh, and new hardwoods a little bit more down the road, also. Ahhh!!!

A new HUGE Project! I'm trying to decide what I'm going to go with. So many choices!

You'll see the way it is now (along with Jordan). Plus some ideas!

Here is my current, outdated cooking space. Definitely needs a facelift!
Butcher block counters? Yes, please!
Cream and rustic looking. I have a buffet/china cabinet in there now. I'm thinking it can be refinished in a lovely turquoise! Will go well with the cream!
Or just paint the cabinets themselves turquoise!
Cream!
Butcher board plus cream. Coming together!
I'm simply in love with this. So crisp and clean!

Opening Doors

After some serious pushing from the soon to be hubs, I've decided to enter the blogging world. I spend so much time creating, but no time actually sharing what I've made. That stops now.

I'm not sure where this journey will take me or what will come of it, but I'm excited to go on a new adventure and learn a few things myself! I plan on sharing crafting tutorials, tips to improve any day, and something creative to mull over. We're going to get down & dirty, so be ready for some fun!

Here we go...
